The XXXI International Scientific Conference “Strategic Management and Decision Support Systems in Strategic Management” (SM2026) aims to promote and advance high-quality research in all aspects of strategic management, with particular emphasis on decision support systems in strategic management. The conference serves as a forum for researchers and practitioners in the field from the region, Europe, and around the world, fostering interaction, cooperation, and development in the area of strategic management.
The theme of the conference is “The Impact of Global Instability on the Business Environment.”
The main topics of the conference are focused on, but not limited to the following areas: Agriculture, Accounting, Business Process Management, Business Intelligence Systems, Corporate Finance/Governance, Data Analytics, Digital Business, Econometrics, Economics of Innovation, Economic Growth and Development, Education Economics, Entrepreneurship, Environmental Economics, Emerging Economies, Energy Economics, Financial Economics, Gender Economics, Health Economics, Human Resources, Industrial Organization, International Finance, International Trade, Investment, Knowledge Economics, Labor Economics, Macroeconomics, Management, Microeconomics, Marketing, Monetary Economics, Political Economics, Public Economics, Risk Management, Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SME), Tax Policies, Tourism Economics.
The conference is comprised of a plenary session, parallel sessions, and panel discussions. The discussion at the plenary sessions is centralised, while the parallel sessions and panel discussions will be organised around specific thematic areas. Virtual participants will be able to present their papers within virtual sessions.
The conference will also include panel discussions, whose primary goal is to foster direct communication between academy and business professionals, as well as to determine areas suitable for intensifying cooperation and joint work.
